The Palestinian presidency renewed its demand for the international community to provide international protection for the Palestinian people and to stop the continuing crimes of the Israeli occupation against them.
Presidential Spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeinah condemned in a statement today reported by Wafa the escalation of the dangerous and continuous Israeli occupation against the Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem and the rest of the West Bank.
The statement pointed out the continued violations of the rights of the Palestinians and its continuous attacks on them, especially in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem, and the killings targeting them throughout the West Bank, the most recent of which was today, where the occupation forces killed two young men and wounded a third at one of their checkpoints west of Jenin, in addition to the settlement expansion in all lands. The Palestinian Authority is in clear violation of international law and resolutions of international legitimacy.
