Rural Damascus - SANA
Two children were killed today as a result of the explosion of a landmine left over from the terrorist organizations in the village of Iftris, Kafr Batna, Eastern Ghouta, in the Damascus countryside.
A source in the Rural Police Command told SANA that two children, 10 and 8, while they were playing near an abandoned house, a landmine exploded, killing them instantly.
On the 27th of last month, two brothers, 11 years and 4 years old, were killed by a landmine while they were playing on Maksar Road in Douma.
Before their defeat, the terrorist organizations from the villages and towns of Eastern Ghouta deliberately planted large quantities of ammunition, explosive devices and mines everywhere, including homes, streets and buildings, in order to inflict damage on the largest number of civilians and prevent them from returning to their normal lives.
