Nuremberg - On Saturday (May 8th) the “Day of Urban Development Funding” will take place nationwide, on which municipalities will present their projects.
Due to the pandemic, the city of Nuremberg * will put the web video "50 Years of Urban Renewal in Nuremberg" online at www.stadternlassung.nuernberg.de from the day of action, which will also be shown in the shop windows of the district offices and at public urban renewal events in the future, such as the city announces in a message.

Nuremberg: Urban renewal has been creating concepts for 50 years - together with citizens
For 50 years, urban renewal in Nuremberg has been helping to preserve, design and develop lively city quarters.
Together with the citizens, goals and measures for the urban renewal area are worked out and implemented within about 15 years.
Squares, parks and public facilities * are upgraded or newly created, and the districts are holistically upgraded.
Urban renewal is helped by grants from urban development funding: the federal government, the Free State of Bavaria and the city of Nuremberg jointly finance many projects in the area.
