Nuremberg - On Tuesday morning (April 13), a pensioner in the Langwasser district of Nuremberg * was deprived of a large amount of money by two con artists.

The police are again warning of the series of frauds and asks other victims to report them.

Presumably out of shame, a senior citizen reported the fraud to the Nuremberg South Police Station several weeks after the actual act.

In mid-April she was spoken to in Russian on the street by two unknown women, reports the Central Franconia Police Headquarters *.

A conversation that lasted several hours developed in which the strangers predicted that her grandson would suffer a misfortune in the near future.

There the simulated healers distracted the woman with card reading, prayers and a ritual with eggs.

Finally, the fraudsters came up with the actual request and asked the woman whether she had any cash.

In fact, the injured party had set aside a large amount of money for her relatives and handed over several thousand euros to the false faith healers.

It was only after the strangers left that she began to have doubts and realized that she had been betrayed.

The specialist commissioner of the Nuremberg criminal police is now investigating for trick theft.

The police believe that the case is part of a series that has been reported on several times.

In this context, the police asks other victims of the series: "If you fell for the fraudsters or were approached by them, then file a criminal complaint with a police station as soon as possible."
