The digital vaccination certificate in Germany is to come.
But for a family doctor in Bavaria that doesn't go fast enough.
He fears thousands of forgeries.
Munich - A digital vaccination card has been in planning in Germany for some time, but not yet ready for use.
There should even be a European solution by the end of June at the latest.
One doctor fears that it is too late.
Because thousands of fake yellow vaccination certificates are already in circulation.
Verification then becomes difficult.
Digital vaccination certificate required - to protect people with previous illnesses
The general practitioner Christian Kröner vaccinates against the corona virus in his family doctor's practice. He noticed how quickly and easily the German paper vaccination passports can be forged. With a steadily increasing vaccination rate and the associated relaxation for vaccinated people, this could soon become a problem. In relation to
, Kröner advocates a forgery-proof, digital variant - and that as quickly as possible.
From his point of view, the central fact is that non-vaccinated people could gain freedom.
Rather, he fears for the health of people with previous illnesses who cannot be vaccinated.
“You are very much at risk.
If you come near someone who is supposedly vaccinated, but who in fact could be much more contagious, it is extremely risky, ”he explains to the news portal.
The only way to prevent this is then not to allow freedom for vaccinated people.
And that couldn't be a solution.

Medic is annoyed by vaccination manufacturer Biontech: "Incredible naivety"
The matter becomes explosive because the forgery of the analog, yellow vaccination certificates is so easy. “The whole thing is very easy, costs less than five euros and takes no longer than three minutes. Neither the yellow document nor the sticker for the vaccination or the stamp are forgery-proof. ”Vaccination manufacturer Biontech, of all people, has forgered: made the already uncomplicated process even easier.
Kröner reports that at the beginning he mainly received cans from the German company.
“However, the manufacturer made the slip of paper for the vaccination certificate available online for download.
Everyone could see them.
An unbelievable naivety. ”Unfortunately, that did not go undiscovered, of course.
He himself heard from Facebook and Telegram how easy it was to buy a fake vaccination certificate.
It is precisely for this reason that the implementation of a secure, digital vaccination pass is very important now - and as quickly as possible.
