Lucas Villa, one of the student leaders of the peaceful demonstrations carried out in Colombia against measures and reforms proposed by the government of President Iván Duque, is fighting for his life in a hospital.
Carlos Andrés Gómez, a colleague and friend of Lucas, spoke with CNN about his friend's state of health and the demands for justice for the acts of violence unleashed in the country.
Gomez said the young protesters seek to effect change in the South American nation.
