A meeting of Commonwealth heads of government scheduled for June in the Rwandan capital Kigali has been postponed again due to the pandemic caused by the coronavirus, the organization said on Friday.
The event, which takes place every two years, was supposed to take place last year but has been postponed to June 21 due to Covid-19.

Commonwealth Secretary General Patricia Scotland announced on Friday that it had been adjourned again, sine die.
"We regret that we cannot bring together the leaders of the Commonwealth at this time (...) but we must be aware of the enormous risks that big meetings represent for all,"
she said.
"I look forward to the time when we can be reunited with the Commonwealth family, face to face, in Rwanda, when conditions permit,"
she added.
The Commonwealth, mostly made up of former British colonies, brings together 54 countries and 2.4 billion people.
Rwandan President Paul Kagame said the decision to postpone the event for the second time was
“not taken lightly. We look forward to welcoming the Commonwealth family to Kigali at the appropriate time. ”
