From our correspondent in Jerusalem
Tensions are mounting in Sheikh Jarrah, an affluent and working-class neighborhood in East Jerusalem.
For several nights, clashes have opposed, after the breaking of the Ramadan fast, groups of young Palestinians to the Israeli security forces.
On the night of Thursday to Friday, clashes erupted between demonstrators and Jewish settlers in this part of the city occupied since 1967 and annexed by Israel.
The clashes are limited but will increase as the Supreme Court's decision on Monday's decision to evict Palestinian families from their homes approaches.
On the same day, thousands of religious Zionists including many settlers from West Bank settlements are expected in East Jerusalem, including on the Esplanade des Mosques, the Temple Mount for Jews, for a parade.
Like every year, they will celebrate "Jerusalem Day" to mark the anniversary of the capture of the Old City during the war.
