Bad week for cannabis traffickers in northern Seine-et-Marne.

The first salvo came from the judicial police (PJ) of Meaux who arrested - Monday, May 3 - three suspected drug dealers and got hold of 26.5 kilos of cannabis, mainly grass, in Serris.

It was following an anonymous testimony, filed in March 2021 on the brand new moncommissariat.fr site, that the investigation began.

There was talk of a place for storing and reselling narcotics in an apartment rented via the Airbnb platform.

The surveillance which followed one another made it possible to discover strange comings and goings.

5,700 euros in cash and an automatic pistol

Knowing that a large drug delivery had been made on the weekend of May 1 and 2, investigators from the Meaux judicial police and their colleagues from the Lagny-sur-Marne agglomeration police station raided on Monday. , mid-morning.

Bingo: in the apartment, they discovered the 26.5 kilos, as well as 5,700 euros in cash and a 7.65 caliber automatic pistol.

They arrested three men, aged 27 and 29.

One of them is currently on semi-liberty, that is to say he sleeps in prison at night… and is supposed to look for a job during the day.

The trio were remanded in custody this Thursday evening, awaiting the judgment in immediate appearance by the court of Meaux, Tuesday, May 11.

Ten arrests in Chelles and Pomponne

It was the next day, Tuesday May 4, early in the morning, that about 70 police officers stormed into the Grande Prairie district, in Chelles. This is where drug trafficking - at the foot of a building - rots the lives of residents of rue Jean-Mermoz. The following took part in this large-scale operation: police officers from the Seine-et-Marne departmental security department but also officials from the Villeparisis agglomeration police station, the public order service, the municipal police of Chelles and the interministerial group research. Without forgetting the presence of three dogs specialized in the detection of narcotics.

The police arrested nine men, aged in their thirties, including two brothers suspected of being at the head of the traffic and recovering their drugs in Spain.

Also placed in custody: two “managers” of the deal point and five salespeople-lookouts.

Arrest of the alleged "nurse"

The police got their hands on 330 grams of cannabis resin and 7,000 euros in cash.

Not to mention that 13,600 euros were seized from bank accounts.

At the same time, staff from the Lagny-sur-Marne agglomeration police station arrested a man suspected of being the "nurse" in whom the drugs were stored.

All will be tried by the criminal court of Meaux, on July 6, as part of a delayed appearance. Eight of them were remanded in custody this Friday evening, pending the hearing. The ninth was placed under judicial supervision and the tenth - the "nanny" - was to be tried, as part of the guilty plea.
