During an iftar ceremony held in the city of Al-Tal, which was called by the owners of popular and civil activities in the region, which included the people of the towns and villages affiliated to it, the region’s notables, in statements to the SANA delegate, saw that the holding of the presidential elections on time preserved the unity of Syria and its institutions and participation in it is an affirmation of determination and determination to rebuild the homeland.
Sheikh Badr Al-Khatib considered that this meeting expresses the people's love for their homeland and their devotion to the blood of the martyrs of Syria, and affirms that participating in the presidential elections, which are considered a national duty, is evidence of moving forward in the fight against terrorism alongside the Syrian Arab Army.
On his part, Father Andarous Iskandafi expressed his words kindly about the love and sincerity that every Syrian voice carries in this achievement for the good and the pride of Syria and its people, stressing that this entitlement is a guarantee for the reconstruction and advancement of the country.
Sheikh Abd al-Ghani Abu Shaar, an imam of a mosque in Tal Menin, affirmed that the presidential elections are of a high level of importance and wide participation in them is a necessary prerequisite to be a start after the difficult years of war that the Syrian people passed on towards reforming and reconstructing the country, advancing the national economy, improving the standard of living and service, and facing the blockade and the imposed challenges. Muhammad Ghara, the mayor of Hafir, also considered that the elections complete the march of victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army against terrorism, the renaissance of Syria, and a step towards reconstruction and construction, while Tawfiq Jumaa, the mayor of the town of Hosh Arab, considered that holding the elections on time is a message to the world that Syria adheres to its sovereign decision, pointing out that it is the duty of everyone. Lawyer Inad Radwan considered that holding the presidential elections in this sensitive stage is a legal and constitutional necessity and that it cannot be indolent or postponed.
