A suspected homicide occurred in a Macau hotel. A 50-year-old woman from the Mainland was found lying in her room. The police arrived at the scene and confirmed that she was dead.
The case was once classified as a body discovery, but the police officer later changed it to a homicide case, referring to the deceased's head and neck with unusual scars and suspicious cause of death. The investigation procedure for serious crimes was immediately initiated.
Hong Kong and Taiwan reported that the place where the body was found was a room on the 31st floor of the Venetian Hotel in Macau.
The corpse was taken away by the worker in the early hours of Friday morning. The large number of exhibits at the scene were divided into two police vehicles.

A number of Macau media outlets including Haojiang Daily stated that the deceased was named Huang, female, 50 years old, and a mainland resident.
At 4:13 pm on Thursday, the Police Reporting Center received a notification from the Fire Department that a woman was found dead in a hotel room in a casino in Cotai, and the police were asked to send an investigation.
After investigation, the deceased had unusual scars on his head and neck.
Due to the suspicious cause of death, investigation procedures for serious crimes have been initiated immediately.
The incident is temporarily classified as a homicide. The exact cause of death has yet to be determined by a forensic doctor. The case has been referred to the Investigation Department for follow-up.
