No sooner had Emmanuel Macron made this announcement than Guillaume Rozier imagined an answer.
The young man, at the origin of the Covidtracker site and several associated services including Vitemadose announced the implementation of a new service, Chronodose, from May 12.
Date on which French people over 18 can request to be vaccinated, as long as there are still vaccines available.
5,000 slots involved
But here it is, it is not always easy to find available appointments, so from one day to the next, it can turn into a nightmare. Guillaume Rozier's mission is to provide simple answers, including complicated questions. Chronodose will therefore make it possible to find the slots open to over 18s in D + 1. About "

For each niche, there can be multiple doses. At the Stade de France, there are 25 doses per slot. On the contrary in pharmacies, there are more slots than doses, to attract the most people and when all the slots are taken, everything is closed,

Vitemadose is aimed more generally at the different age groups concerned by the vaccination, that is to say, from May 10, those over 50 years old. Concretely, you must first connect to Vitemadose, then for 18-50 year olds, search for available vaccination slots the next day, or even the same day. “
Chronodose is a new feature of Vitemadose
, explains Guillaume Rozier to Le Figaro, specifying that“
users of mobile applications (Android or iPhone) can be alerted automatically if they wish
”.
In other words: for 18-50 years old, it's Chronodose and for those over 50, Vitemadose. Guilllaume Rozier plans to put the service online on Tuesday, he told Le Figaro, "in
order to be operational from Wednesday
". This does not prevent you from trying to make an appointment on other sites, including Doctolib or Keldoc. The search for available slots has also been improved in this regard, with the possibility of finding the appointments closest to home or the fastest available.
It is also possible to register on Covidliste.
The approach is in a way the opposite, since it is the vaccination center or the practitioner who will inform the person, by SMS or by email, that a slot has become available nearby.
In this case, it is up to the latter to validate the proposed appointment, without delay.
Like Covidtracker, this service was developed by volunteers.
They were keen to ensure “that
no dose is wasted
”.
With vaccines, more and more requests to be vaccinated and time slots available, it (re) becomes possible to consider vacations this summer and a “
