India's health crisis is more difficult to handle because of its population of 1.3 billion.

Devastating images of makeshift crematoriums in public places traveled the world.

For this reason, we invited the doctor Gerardo Álvarez-Uría, who directs the Infectious Diseases service of the Bathalapalli Hospital in Anantapur (India).

Álvarez-Uría said that the speed with which patients arrive has forced them to place beds in the corridors of the hospital.
