The Daraa Fire Brigade extinguished a fire that broke out in a limited area planted in Sheikh Maskin in the countryside of Daraa today and prevented it from spreading to the neighboring fields.
The commander of the Daraa Fire Brigade, Colonel Muhammad Mahamid, stated in a statement to the SANA reporter today that the fire broke out in a limited area and was immediately controlled by the staff of the fire brigade and the Sheikh Maskin unit.
He added that the fire brigade put out fires that broke out in a motorcycle repair shop in the Al-Sadd Road neighborhood, two herb fires on the Atman road on the side of the kaziya, and the warehouse side on Atman Road, a fire generated within a farm on Umm Al-Mayathen Road, and a fire of grasses and trees in Busra Al-Sham.
In the past four days, the regiment extinguished 18 fires that broke out in trees, dry grass, homes and shops.
