New clashes on Saturday evening, May 8, between Israeli police and Palestinian demonstrators left more than 50 injured in various neighborhoods in East Jerusalem, rescue workers announced.

We have so far counted 53 injured
" in violence on Saturday evening, said a spokesperson for the Palestinian Red Crescent, adding that the incidents had occurred in the areas of Sheikh Jarrah, Damascus Gate and Bab al. -Zahra.
