36-year-old Eric Masson was killed during a trivial intervention on a drug point in Avignon.
Her killer is still on the run this Saturday morning and a drug addict, witness to the tragedy, was questioned in police custody and then released.
Call for a rally on May 19
All the police unions have already called for a “citizens' march” on May 19 in Paris, after a tribute Sunday in Avignon to their colleague, and decided to suspend their participation on May 17 in the “Beauvau de la sécurité”.

Jean Castex and the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin will receive "at the beginning of next week" the police unions, announced for his part the Prime Minister on Friday.
