Iranian President Hassan Rouhani announced that it had been agreed to lift almost all the embargo measures against Tehran, noting at the same time that the Vienna negotiations are continuing to discuss some details.
Rouhani said during a meeting with officials at the Iranian Ministry of Health today that “the Americans and Europeans realize that they have no choice but to lift sanctions on Iran and return to the nuclear agreement, and they announced this openly,” expecting the ban to be lifted before the end of the current government’s life.
Rouhani praised the efforts of Iranian officials who responded to the sweeping restrictions.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatib Zadeh announced yesterday that the Vienna talks are "slow but positive," indicating that US President Joe Biden must choose between adhering to the legacy of the failed administration of former US President Donald Trump or distancing himself from those policies and returning to commitments under the nuclear agreement. .
