A total of 238 boxes of laser discs, cassette tapes and ink cartridges were seized during the police operation, with a total market value of about 1 million yuan.

The case is investigated by the customs.

According to the Import and Export Regulations, anyone who exports unmanifested cargo can be fined up to 2 million yuan and imprisoned for 7 years upon conviction.
