A 36-year-old probably saved his life by jumping off his motorcycle at full speed.
His driverless machine was fully rammed by a car.

- On Thursday around 11.15 a.m., an 80-year-old from Munich drove his Peugeot into town on Grünwalder Weg in Unterhaching.
At the same time, a 55-year-old from the Munich district with a BMW and a 36-year-old from the Munich district with his Suzuki drove the Grünwalder Weg in opposite directions one after the other.
For a previously unknown cause, the 80-year-old turned left and got into oncoming traffic, reports the police.

The Peugeot touched the BMW at the rear left corner and drove straight towards the motorcyclist.
The 36-year-old jumped off his motorcycle.
The driverless Suzuki and the 80-year-old's Peugeot collided head-on.
The Peugeot rammed another boulder on the edge of the road and hit a tree before the car came to a stop.
After the accident in Unterhaching: 80-year-old injured brought to hospital
In the traffic accident, the 80-year-old suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital by the emergency services.
The 55-year-old motorist and the 36-year-old motorcyclist were uninjured.
Accident near Unterhaching: high property damage and street closure
The vehicles suffered damage to property amounting to tens of thousands of euros.
During the recording of the accident, Grünwalder Weg had to be closed in both directions.
The traffic was diverted.
There were minor traffic obstructions.
The Munich traffic police took over the further investigations.
The community of Aschheim has now responded to a knife found on a playground - and tightened controls on the playgrounds.
Meanwhile, the police are still looking for witnesses.
