The Israeli occupation war against the Palestinian presence in occupied Jerusalem is escalating as its forces intensified their incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, while its settlers continue the war of ethnic cleansing and demographic change in the Old City of Jerusalem and Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood while the international community and the United Nations do not move a finger to stop the occupation crimes that amount to war crimes and crimes against Humanity.

Last night, more than 205 Palestinians were injured and dozens of others were arrested during the occupation forces stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and assaulted thousands of worshipers with bullets and poison gas canisters to force them to leave the mosque by force. I assaulted the journalists, and a number of them were injured.

The aggression of the occupation against the city of Jerusalem sparked a massive wave of anger in the Palestinian cities and villages, which translated into protest demonstrations denouncing the crimes of the occupation in Jerusalem and the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and supporting Al-Aqsa and Jerusalem in their battle against the occupation's Judaizing settlement plans.

The undersecretary of the Palestinian Ministry of Endowments, Hussam Abu Al-Rub, explained in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the occupation forces launched an aggression against Al-Aqsa and attacked the worshipers in its yards and closed its facilities with iron chains and fired heavy bullets and toxic gas bombs towards the worshipers, which resulted in hundreds of injuries and suffocation cases, as well as the medical teams that attacked It was providing aid to worshipers in Al-Aqsa courtyards and stormed the medical clinic inside Al-Aqsa and broke its contents in a blatant assault and a new crime to be added to the occupation’s record of crimes.

The undersecretary of the Palestinian Ministry of Endowments indicated that the occupation, in disregard of international laws guaranteeing freedom of worship, has continued since the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan to storm Al-Aqsa, close its doors and prevent tens of thousands of Palestinians from praying there, stressing that the Palestinian people continue their steadfastness in the battle to defend Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the State of Palestine and will not The occupation is allowed to implement its Judaization schemes.

The director of the Jerusalem International Center, Hassan Khater, pointed to the continuation of the ethnic cleansing war in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood through the plan to displace dozens of Palestinian families, stressing that the occupation's attacks on the people of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and their solidarity with them will not undermine the determination of the Palestinian people to defend their land and sanctities.

Khater explained that the occupation imposed a comprehensive siege on the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, closed the roads leading to it, and continued the process of storming homes and deploying hundreds of its forces in the neighborhood's streets and rooftops, stressing that the resistance of the Palestinian people is a legendary battle of steadfastness against the thuggery of the occupation.

Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization Wasel Abu Yusef stressed that the crimes that the occupation is doing in Al-Aqsa Mosque and continuing to prevent it from reaching the worshipers and solidarity activists in Jerusalem or its practices in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood is a full-fledged crime, indicating that the occupation is trying to impose a Judaizing reality in Jerusalem, but all These aggressive practices will fail against the legendary steadfastness of the Palestinian people.

Abu Yusef called on the international community to stop the policy of condemning only the crimes of the occupation and the need for it to take practical measures to provide international protection for the Palestinian people and to put pressure on the occupation to stop the racial ethnic cleansing operations in occupied Jerusalem.

Member of the Political Bureau of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Maryam Abu Daqqa, indicated that the occupation forces' storming of Al-Aqsa and attacking worshipers and in solidarity with the people of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, whose inhabitants are wanted by the occupation, are a flagrant violation of all international laws and agreements for the protection of peoples under occupation.

Abu Daqqa affirmed that the continued aggression of the occupation against Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque will not break the will of the Palestinian people, who are fighting their battle with courage, armed with their historical, civilized and eternal right to their land and sanctities, stressing that the battle of Jerusalem is the battle of all Palestinians, and Jerusalem will triumph as it has triumphed in all battles over this occupation.
