This evening, the Israeli occupation forces arrested eight Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem.
Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the Bab al-Amoud area, one of the most important gates in old Jerusalem leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, east of the city, and arrested eight Palestinians.
In addition, a number of Palestinians were injured this evening in the West Bank as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' suppression of a protest demonstration denouncing the continued attacks by the occupation forces in occupied Jerusalem.
The occupation forces attacked Palestinians participating in the demonstration at the Hawara checkpoint, south of Nablus, with bullets and poison gas canisters, which resulted in the suffocation of a number of them.
Today, the occupation forces arrested 15 Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem.
