Yemeni Politicians: The holding of the presidential elections is a witness and evidence of the victory of the Syrian will and a fatal blow to the conspirators

A number of Yemeni politicians asserted that holding the presidential elections in Syria on time is evidence that Syria is fine and that despite all the conspiracies, challenges and difficulties, it will move towards the future and will prevail.

Ahmed Al-Ammari, assistant secretary-general of the Yemeni Al-Karamah Party, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent in Sanaa that the Syrian presidential elections are a living witness and a great proof of the victory of the free Syrian will that provided its children and the best of its children in the battle of sovereignty and independence against the enemies of Syria.

He added that this presidential election carries new variables that impose themselves on the regional and international arenas, and it will mark the beginning of a new phase that took the international decision out of the hands of the enemies of Syria and the nation through the steadfastness and sacrifices of the axis of resistance.

For his part, Dr. Hazza Al-Sabri, Secretary of Political Affairs and Information of the Yemeni Council for Peace and Solidarity, affirmed that the legendary steadfastness of the resistance of Syria has failed the plans devised for it.

Al-Sabri said, "Here are the presidential elections, which will take place on time, and will not be hindered by any action or words of the aggressors and their servants, and we are confident that the Syrian people will gather together to contribute to making their future and their options according to their national constitution, which guarantees every citizen his right to life, freedom and live in peace."

For his part, Nayef Haydan, a member of the Shura Council of the Republic of Yemen, pointed out that the Syrian presidential elections, in light of the current difficult circumstances today, are considered a great achievement for Syria.

He explained that holding the presidential elections in accordance with the Syrian constitution constitutes a devastating blow to all conspirators against Syria and its people, and proves that the will of the people is indomitable, no matter how the forces of evil are trying to undermine their determination and will.

For his part, Muhammad Shamsan, a Yemeni writer and journalist, said that the Syrian presidential elections are a very important event that comes in a different stage of the most important stages of the Syrian Arab people who are fighting great battles in the face of international terrorism and in defense of all the free people of the world.

He added that these elections confirm Syria's belief in the foundations and principles of democracy and the consolidation of the roots of popular and mass participation in decision-making, shaping the future, defining its features, and drawing the prospects for political and public life in Syria, pointing out that through this democratic process the Syrian people present a message to the world that Syria is fine and despite all conspiracies. Challenges and difficulties will go towards the future and will prevail.
