Deprived of a start this Sunday by appalling weather conditions, especially on the Cap Finisterre side, the 18 duos in the double-handed Transat will be able to console themselves with a 5-mile prologue this afternoon off Concarneau.
The sailors will leave the pontoons of Concarneau, between 1:43 p.m. and 2:17 p.m. and the start of the prologue will be given at 3:25 p.m., in the middle of the bay of Concarneau.
The Figaro Bénéteau 3 will then turn two marks in front of the Cap Coz beach, then aim for a buoy at Linuen before reaching the finish line at the entrance to the Concarneau channel.
This 5 mile course should be completed in about 40 minutes.
The big start of the race should not be given before Tuesday, according to the first information provided on Saturday by the race director.
