A stun grenade is thrown into the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount (use of social networks according to section 27A)

Recent events in the West Bank and Jerusalem have, as expected, spawned an exchange of pathetic accusations in Israel between supporters of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his opponents. While the former shouted "Palestinians already smell the weakness of the change government," the latter claimed that "Netanyahu wants escalation to stop his evacuation from Balfour." But this time, as in many similar cases, some credit should be given to the one who wins the fire - Hamas.

No, the many terrorist attacks in the West Bank alongside the escalation in Jerusalem are not necessarily related to Israeli politics, despite the patronizing tendency of Israelis to see it that way. It is precisely Palestinian domestic politics that plays such a significant role here. The deadly combination of the end of Ramadan, along with the cancellation of the Palestinian elections, and of course the rise in tensions over the evacuation of houses in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood (yes or no) gave rise to the perfect storm for Hamas - a golden opportunity to warm the West Bank, especially around East Jerusalem.

The heads of the organization have been making a tremendous explanatory effort in the last two weeks to set fire to the decree, and to their credit, they are even succeeding in doing so.

Even the evacuation of Palestinian families from their homes in Sheikh Jarrah is not the main reason for what has been happening in recent days in Jerusalem.

Israel, the IDF, the Jerusalem Police, have already evacuated homes in the past and taken much harsher action against the Palestinians, in Jerusalem and abroad. Thousands of worshipers shouting every night with a hoarse throat - "Ya Qassam Ya Habib Adrov Adrov Tel Aviv" (perhaps they also read Aryeh Deri's tweets condemning Tel Aviv) while waving Hamas and Islamic movement flags.

Hamas' oiled incitement system went into action very quickly and thus was born the attack at Tapuach Junction and the attempted attack of the three terrorists who apparently tried to carry out a multi-casualty attack in central Israel that was thwarted near the Salem checkpoint.

The latest photos from the Temple Mount on Friday night only of course provide more fuel for Hamas' incitement engines. With nearly 200 wounded, the sights are reminiscent of the forgotten photos from September 29, 2000, a day after Ariel Sharon's visit to the Temple Mount, when a violent eruption of worshipers on the Temple Mount ended in seven deaths and dozens of Palestinian wounded. And a few hours later the al-Aqsa Intifada broke out. At the same time, unlike that event almost 21 years ago, this time there were no casualties or "martyrs". And yet the images from the mountain may inspire quite a few frustrated young people in the West Bank to carry out more attacks.

For Hamas, the old policy is now taking shape: the burning of Jerusalem with an aspiration to light the West Bank, while keeping Gaza out of the equation.

This is despite Muhammad Daf's promises to strike at Israel if the "attack on al-Quds" continues.

Daf for now understands that despite the few minutes of fame it will receive if it allows a massive resumption of rocket fire, another campaign in the Gaza Strip could severely harm Hamas, especially at a time when Israel allows plenty of humanitarian relief in the Gaza Strip and only days after Benjamin Netanyahu's government allows more Qatari $ 30 million in favor of Gaza.

So why destroy Eid al-Fitr, the holiday that ends Ramadan, in the Gaza Strip if it can be done in Jerusalem and the West Bank?
