The Director of Preparedness, Ambulance and Emergency at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Tawfiq, confirmed an account that the Corona injuries curve has decreased with the decrease in daily recorded cases, revealing that the emergency hospital in Al-Fayhaa Sports City in Damascus has been converted into a center to administer the anti-Corona vaccine.
He explained in an account in a statement to SANA that the emergency hospital set up by the ministry last October to receive moderate cases of corona, which needs oxygen support only, has now designated it as a center for administering the vaccine by specifying 6 points inside it that take into account the spatial distancing criteria, indicating that the number of its employees is currently 28 between a doctor and a nurse And technician.
He pointed out that the vaccine is given according to priority after recording data and a clinical examination, which includes measuring body temperature, oxygenation rate, blood pressure, chest listening, and interrogating the vaccine recipient if he had an allergic or disease history or was exposed to the virus during the previous period.
On May 5, the Ministry of Health launched a platform to register for vaccination against the Coronavirus on the ministry's website and give priority to health workers and high-risk groups such as the elderly, people with chronic diseases, and people over the age of 55.
