- The local Green Association in Marzling is positioning itself for the federal election in September. At the digital get-together on Tuesday evening, members and interested parties discussed, among other things, how to get more involved in social issues in addition to the party's core issue - environmental protection. First of all, there was praise for the community: For the first time this summer, the community will take part in the nationwide city cycling campaign, informed chairman Marc Decker. After the Marzlingen local association of the Greens had already started a comparable campaign in 2020, it is extremely welcome that the temporary waiver of the car is now also being supported by the town hall. Another signal for more environmental protection was sent out by the municipal council last year,by giving the green light for an open-air photovoltaic system between State Road 2053 and the railway line. "We are currently in discussion with the operating company as to whether the project can be set up as a cooperative model," says Decker.
An AfD board annoyed the Greens - but not for long
The chairman made it clear that one was very angry about a large AfD billboard in the center of Marzlingen.
The poster is on private land and is not legally open to attack.
Marzling sees itself as a cosmopolitan community and abhor racist propaganda.
In Marzling it was countered with “cunning”.
At the same height, the municipality had put up a poster with advertising for city cycling.
"The AfD poster is so covered up," said the members happily.
Many of those present spoke out in favor of “hanging higher” social issues in the local association in the future.
The social security of employees after the pandemic must be ensured.
You have to get involved so that works councils are strengthened.
The general election in September is looked forward to with confidence.
A suitable candidate for chancellor had been found in Annalena Baerbock.
A real “Baerbock effect” could be observed in Bavaria, according to Decker.
The Greens had seen a strong increase in membership.
