Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
More than 300 Palestinians were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' assault on them in occupied Jerusalem during the past two days, most of them wounds to the head, specifically in the Al-Ain area.
Wafa news agency reported that the Palestine Red Crescent Society confirmed the injury of more than 300 Palestinians in the past two days with bullets fired by the occupation forces during their storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and Bab Al-Amud in occupied Jerusalem, noting that most of the injuries were concentrated in the head and eye, including three Jerusalemites who lost their eyesight completely and a number of others. Among them were children who lost one eye as a result of being directly targeted.
The director of Ambulance Amal Association for Health Services in Jerusalem, Abdul Majeed Taha, explained that the occupation focuses on targeting Palestinians in the eyes, head and upper part of the body to leave severe injuries, deformities and disabilities and inflict the greatest possible damage to their bodies and lives in order to create a state of terror that leads to terrorizing them and passing its Judaizing schemes, stressing that targeting Occupation of sight will not undermine the strength of foresight of the Palestinians who are defending their land and existence.
For his part, the Governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Ghaith, said that since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, the occupation forces had wounded and arrested hundreds of Jerusalemites, pointing out that his 20-year-old son was wounded last Friday by a bullet in the head, which led to a fracture of his skull.
Ghaith indicated that the occupation forces are using all methods of killing, oppression and abuse against the Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem to displace them and Judaize them in an unsuccessful attempt to break their will, stressing that the Palestinians will continue steadfastness and confront with their bare chests the occupation in the battle to defend Jerusalem and the holy sites, and they will fail all its plans to Judaize the city and empty it of the Palestinian presence.
