Today, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko announced that he expects group immunity against the Coronavirus in Russia.
Sputnik quoted Murashko as saying that such a group immunity against the Corona virus will be provided next September, according to the studies and research that we do and the rates of vaccination against the virus.
It is noteworthy that the number of Coronavirus infections in Russia since the start of the pandemic has exceeded 4 million and 870 thousand cases, while on December 5, a general vaccination campaign against the Corona virus began throughout the country.
On the other hand, Murashko announced today that Russia has new infections with the Indian Corona strain, noting that many of them have been discovered recently.
It is noteworthy that the World Health Organization has indicated that the new mutations of the emerging corona virus discovered in India are more contagious and deadly, and that they are more resistant to vaccines compared to the original version of the virus.
