At 2 o'clock in the afternoon today (9th), a 74-year-old woman surnamed Yu was knocked down by a seven-person car and caught underneath the vehicle from 80 to 86 Broadway Street, Mei Foo Sun Chuen.
Firemen arrived at the scene to rescue the woman victim. She was injured in her hands, feet and face. She was consciously sent to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. She is now in stable condition.
The police arrived at the scene to investigate the case. The 53-year-old male driver surnamed Yu was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm to others. Afterwards, the private car involved was towed away by a trailer.
