- On the afternoon of Saturday, May 8th, an attentive citizen reported to the Poing police station that he had seen a child of about one year old on Herzog-Ludwig-Strasse in Markt Schwaben who was riding his balance bike without any parents.
The notifier watched over the toddler until the patrol crew arrived.
Set off after midday
The child's father was already very worried about his one-and-a-half-year-old son and called the police while he was looking for the toddler himself on his bicycle.
Unnoticed by the parents, the child snuck out of the house after a nap and set off on his bike to explore the area.
From a patrol of the Poingen police, the toddler could be handed over undamaged to the parents, who were already longingly waiting for their youngest.
