Star of the 1980s, when it was consumed as a “gin to”, gin experienced a long period of disgrace with mixologists and consumers, before making a comeback in the 2010s. Since then, it has crossed the line. Channel and hardly a week goes by without a new version being released.
Some very much in line with the traditional recipe and with the marked taste of juniper berries, the main ingredient, others much less thanks to sometimes exotic flavors, sometimes even questionable.
