Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The Palestinian Prisoners and Editors Affairs Authority revealed that the Israeli occupation forces, as part of their fierce attack on occupied Jerusalem, have arrested dozens of Jerusalemites during the past few days.
The commission stated in a statement carried by Wafa news agency that the arrests have affected a large number of Fatah cadres, among them the movement’s secretary in Jerusalem, Shady Mutawour, pointing out that the occupation forces have abused the Palestinians during the arrest process, causing them wounds, fractures and bruises.
The commission pointed out that the occupation authorities are tightening their racist measures daily by preventing Palestinians from entering Jerusalem and the continuous attacks on worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque by firing teargas canisters, sound and rubber bullets.
And 53 Palestinians were injured yesterday as a result of the occupation forces' assault on them in occupied Jerusalem.
