Shams Volunteer Team in Sweida is one of the voluntary initiatives aimed at serving children without family care, improving their educational and awareness conditions, and providing them with the necessary skills to bring them back to their true childhood and school seats, in order to serve to enhance the role of marginalized groups.

The team carries out its work through 35 volunteers under the supervision of the Directorates of Culture in Sweida and Child Culture at the Ministry of Culture and implements many workshops, educational and entertainment sessions, various initiatives and manual work programs such as embroidery, knitting and making ceramic roses to empty the energies inside children while drawing their attention to themselves and their self-esteem and introducing them to defense methods.
