Yvelines: a nine-year-old girl and two women injured by dog ​​bites

In just over an hour this Saturday evening, two serious incidents involving an unmuzzled Argentinian Mastiff and American staff were received.


Everything happened really fast.

This Saturday evening around 7:25 p.m. when the curfew has just passed, a 9-year-old child is having fun on a playground in the rue du Moulin à Plaisir.

At the same time, a man is walking his dog, an Argentinian mastiff.

The animal is on a leash but does not wear a muzzle.

"He managed to remove his collar and went directly to the children," reports a source close to the case.

In a few seconds, the little girl finds herself on the ground, with several wounds on her legs.

The dog bit her on the thigh and calf.

Its owner, a 25-year-old man living in Plaisir, was taken into custody for unintentional injuries.

The victim was transported to the Versailles hospital center.

Shortly after, the police were called to Achères for similar facts.

It is 8:50 p.m., two women have just been bitten by an American staff in the street.

One of them, aged 50, has her finger severed, while her friend, 53, comes out of it with simple abrasions.

While they were walking in the rue des Marais, their cat was attacked by an American staff who was kept on a leash.

It was while trying to intervene to separate the animals that the victims were bitten by the dog, one of which was seriously in the hand.

She was then taken to the Aubergenville clinic, specializing in hand surgery.

The dog was recovered by the municipal police while its owner fled.
