Bräuwirt test center: range is being expanded and simplified

The city of Miesbach has opted for a large solution for the test station.

From Monday, May 17th, the offer in the Bräuwirt will be expanded.

- Originally, the idea was to build the currently unused Miesbach ice rink as an additional location, but the discussions, according to Mayor Gerhard Braunmiller, showed that this missed the actual needs.

That is why a test center is now being set up in the brewery room.

So far, the room has only been used by the Spitzweg pharmacy, i.e. in the mornings and once a week in the afternoon. In the future, all three testing pharmacies - including the bee pharmacy and the old town pharmacy - are to be used alternately during the business hours of the surrounding shops. Gaps in the roster are to be closed in cooperation with the Bavarian Red Cross. According to Braunmiller, this also enables testing at the weekend.

The test center in the city's own Bräuwirt, whose landlady Hanni Huber wants to support the surrounding shops by leaving the hall, is to go into operation on Monday, May 17, at 8 a.m.

This solution also meets the request of the trade association Gemeinschaftswerbung Miesbach (GWM) for low-threshold, uncomplicated test options.

Because the experience of business people has shown that Click & Meet is hardly accepted if the necessary negative test is not easy to do.
