Many enjoyed the weather and drove towards lakes and mountains.
That caused the usual problems in the Isarwinkel and Loisachtal.
Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen - The summer weather ensured full streets and parking spaces in the Isarwinkel and Loisach Valley at the weekend.
Despite the appeal of the mayors from the excursion communities to park only in marked areas (we reported), there were again numerous day trippers who did not adhere to them.
Onslaught of day trippers in the Isarwinkel: rescue routes at Walchensee parked up
On Saturday it was not only very tight on the access road to the Hohenburg hiking car park due to cars parked on both sides.
On Sunday, parked cars lined almost the entire street on the Kesselberg.
At the Walchensee itself, the water rescue service reported parked escape routes - including in the Lobisau area at the entrance to the Zwergern peninsula and in Einsiedl.
Some also did not adhere to the ban on barbecues at the lake.
The police were on duty, according to the water rescue service.
Onslaught of day trippers: Police report "no special incidents" by late afternoon
In the afternoon, the Bad Tölz police also spoke of "heavy, heavy traffic".
According to the inspection, "no special incidents" had occurred until late Sunday afternoon.
The number of accidents on this wonderful weekend was also no higher than usual on the weekend.
