Elon Musk ends up answering: "

".

But he also admitted that it was a "
scam
". Even though it was said in a joke (see video below), this joke sent the price of Dogecoin plunging down about 30% during the show to close around 55 cents after the 'program. This Sunday, the cryptocurrency with a dog's head was not doing any better. On the contrary, the euphoria has indeed subsided. By late afternoon, Dogecoin was trading around 40 cents a unit.
