The Medical Association decided today (Monday) to shut down hospitals across the country, following the decision of the Ministry of Finance to repeal 600 standards added to the hospitals during the Corona crisis.

As part of the strike, hospitals will operate on an emergency basis for 24 hours.

Following the decision, dozens of interns set out this morning at 11:00 to demonstrate in the Habima plaza on the cuts of finance.

The strike will not include gastrointestinal facilities for irreversible operations.

Also, day care, oncology, late system reviews for pregnant women and IVF treatments will also work as usual.
