Firefighting teams in Sweida, in cooperation with the people, extinguished today several fires that broke out in areas of the governorate.

The commander of a firefighting group at the Civil Defense Directorate, Omar Baraka, told SANA's correspondent that a fire broke out in the eastern foothills of Tell Qleb and the fire spread over an area of ​​about 20 dunums, mostly dry grass, and affected a number of forest bushes before they could be extinguished with the support of the Salkhad firefighting unit and the people, indicating that the winds blew and the rugged nature of the area Cause the flames rapidly expand.

In turn, the order of the group in the Sweida Fire Brigade, Gad Al-Abed, stated that the regiment dealt with a number of fires that broke out with varying areas of dry weeds in separate locations inside the city and in the town of Qarya, while a methic firefighting unit put out two fires that broke out in dry weeds southwest of the city without any damage.

In Salkhad, the firefighting unit put out two fires that affected areas of dry weeds on the Sweida and Amtan-Sama roads, according to the order of the Yaman Salloum group.
