The safety director and safety consultant who approved the plans on Mount Meron were detained this morning (Monday) for the first investigation since the disaster occurred on Mount Meron at the revelry of Rabbi Shimon Bar-Yohai last week, in which 45 people were killed after being crushed to death as a result of crowded visitors.
