The last day of the Ramadan Charitable Market, which started with the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan and concluded its activities yesterday, in the old Tartous hall on the sea corniche and Al Talaia Park in the Western Ghamqa district witnessed a great turnout of citizens who found a good gesture in it that enabled them to buy various goods and materials at reasonable prices.

The market, which was launched by the Ministry of Endowments in cooperation with the governorate and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, provided during the month of Ramadan various foodstuffs such as basic materials, meat, grains, jams and dates in addition to sweets, sanitary materials and detergents, placing its visitors in front of various options, offers and gifts provided by national companies from different governorates in a competitive atmosphere that reflected quality and strength The Syrian product and its ability to compete to meet the needs of citizens.

SANA monitored different opinions about the market, as the owners and representatives of the participating events considered an important opportunity to introduce national products and from various industries and present them to the consumer at prices that suit everyone, in addition to the fact that he found new consumers, which enabled them to expand the consumption circle to promote their products.

Director of the Chamber of Commerce Muhammad Al-Ajji confirmed that the next step in this regard will be to go to the countryside of Tartous to establish similar activities to reach as much as possible to the largest possible segment and to provide national products at reduced prices and at less than the cost price, pointing out that the market experience is successful and good, as evidenced by the high volume of sales and the intensity of visitors as a result. Market supervisor Muhammad al-Omar considered it a charitable, socio-economic festival, pointing out that what distinguished the market from the rest of the governorates was its presence in two different places.

Visitors to the market saw it as a positive step that provided them with buying multiple commodities from one place at prices less than the market by up to 20 percent, wishing to repeat similar activities permanently to save the citizen as much as possible in difficult economic living conditions.
