A man was arrested Saturday, May 8 in Orléans as part of a rally declared as protesting but diverted from its announced object and transformed into a tribute to Joan of Arc, we learned from the Loiret prefecture.

The organizers of this rally, which took place in front of the cathedral and attended by a maximum of about 90 people, according to the same source, were "

", a recently dissolved far-right group, the man arrested wore a swastika engraved on his arm, a swastika which was "

The organizers, who had declared a rally in the prefecture to protest against the health measures, had been warned not to divert the object of this gathering, the same source said.
