The Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, Abdel Nasser Hemmati, announced that progress has been made in efforts to release Iranian frozen assets in some countries, describing the indications about this file as positive.
In a statement he made to Iranian TV yesterday, in which he reviewed the country's monetary and banking policies, Hemmati said regarding the assets file, that the news received is positive and that the efforts made to release it have witnessed progress compared to the past, but we will announce the situation when the information becomes more accurate.
The head of the office of the Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mahmoud Vaezi, confirmed yesterday that the Vienna negotiations on the nuclear deal had made "relatively progress" despite the difficulties and were continuing to lift the embargo and fulfill the rights of the Iranian people.
