Clashes between Palestinian worshipers and Israeli police on the Mosques esplanade in East Jerusalem left dozens injured on Monday (May 10), an AFP journalist noted.

The injured were evacuated in ambulances dispatched to the scene and parked at the exit of the esplanade, Islam's third holiest site.
