The long-planned renewal of the Ostergrabenbrücke in Konrad-Dreher-Strasse in Schliersee can begin.

First of all, the drinking water pipeline will be laid from today.

Schliersee

- As of today, Monday, the public drinking water supply in the Rotmaurergasse, Konrad-Dreher-Straße and Radspielergasse areas will be renewed and the other divisions relocated as part of preparatory work.

The current drinking water pipeline is over 100 years old and no longer corresponds to the state of the art.

The municipal administration estimates that the preparatory work will take around four weeks.

Laying the drinking water pipeline improves the supply for the entire drinking water network.

According to a press release from the town hall, the extinguishing water supply for the fire brigade will be adjusted at the same time.

The work is carried out by the Huber pipeline company from Halfing.

Bridge renewal takes three to four months

The actual bridge renewal will then begin.

The measure has been discussed for years.

The estimate is three to four months.

The renewal of the Ostergrabenbrücke is carried out by the Plereiter company from Inzell.

During the construction work, the road traffic for the Gstatterberg and Ledersberg will be routed in one lane via the Rotmaurergasse as a temporary solution with traffic lights.

Since this diversion is basically not designed for road traffic, it is shown with a weight restriction for a maximum total weight of twelve tons.

Changes in traffic management

It should also be noted that the entry into the federal road is mandatory due to the poor visibility conditions.

As an additional aid, a traffic mirror will be installed during the diversion.

The community is already asking for understanding for disabilities, restrictions and noise and thanks the property owners directly affected for their willingness to cooperate.
