Sports practice: end of the compulsory medical certificate for children

The traditional certificates of non-contraindication to the practice of sport have been replaced by questionnaires, with some exceptions.


The medical certificates to register your child in judo, football or tennis, it's over.

Since Saturday May 8, under a decree published in the Official Journal, the process has been replaced by a simple questionnaire to be completed by parents.

This decree is part of the law on the acceleration and simplification of public action of December 7, 2020. For the government, this decision has four objectives: to facilitate access to sports for young people, "
