This Monday, the court of Compiègne (Oise) heavily condemned Youssifou Simaga, a young man barely 18 years old, for having engaged in a real outburst of violence during an ambush.

At the helm, the latter remained apathetic, denying the facts until the end despite the evidence linking him to the attack committed on March 20.

That evening, the victim and her family "saw themselves die".

It was 11:55 p.m., avenue Bury-Saint-Edmund, a major thoroughfare in Compiègne, near the Clos-des-Roses district.

The attacker ends up breaking the window and grabs his victim by the hair to force her to hand over her keys and her phone.

One of the accomplices tries to stop him, evoking the screaming children in the back of the car.

In vain, Youssifou does not stop.

"He was pulling my hair," told me to pick up my 15-month-old daughter.

I held her in my arms while he was not threatening me again, ”recounts the victim, still trembling, at the helm.

"They were shouting: We're going to make one"

The assailant ends up letting go to walk towards another moving car, before retracing his steps.

This is when the police arrive on site, alerted by a neighbor.

She will explain having seen the trio trying to stop several vehicles.

According to his account given to the investigators, one of them was even knocked down, before getting up.

"They were shouting:

We are going to make one,

 " she describes, assuring that the group was targeting women.

Identified by his fingerprints on the windshield and recognized by witnesses, Youssifou Simaga will be arrested a few days after the facts.

Until the end, he will have denied the facts altogether.

Youssifou Simaga is now prohibited from coming into contact with the victims and is obliged to pay damages of € 4,000 for the driver, € 3,000 for his partner and € 3,000 for each of the three children. The victim, still in shock, has already planned to leave Compiègne permanently.
