Many have been waiting longingly for this: Corona is being relaxed in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district.

The Ministry kept its word.

District - Friday evening there was still the long-awaited happy news from Munich.

The Bavarian Ministry of Health approved the openings, which will apply from Monday, May 10, in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district.

Corona in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district: Health department approves openings

In the afternoon, the highest authority in the corona pandemic had spoken in a press release of 13 applications from all over Bavaria, which should be processed as quickly as possible.

The Ministry kept its word.

To the south of Munich, relaxations such as the opening of outdoor restaurants, theaters and cinemas as well as sports have only been authorized for the Starnberg and Landsberg districts.

The openings at a glance:

The provisions for openings from May 10th are anchored in Paragraph 27 of the 12th Infection Protection Regulation.

Paragraph (1) contains the information for regions with an incidence between 50 and 100:

-

Outdoor catering:

open to visitors with prior appointment bookings and documentation for contact follow-up.

If people from several households are sitting at the same table, an up-to-date negative test (PCR maximum 48 hours, rapid test maximum 24 hours old) is required.

-

Cinemas and cultural events in theaters, operas and concert halls:

open to visitors with a negative test (see above).

-

Sport:

Contact-free sport indoors as well as contact sport outdoors is permitted, provided that all participants have a negative Corona test certificate (see above).

The general hygiene plans apply, which can be viewed at www.verkuendigung-bayern.de/baymbl/.

People who have been vaccinated twice (14 days later) and those who have recovered (within 6 months) - with proof - are exempt from the obligation to test.

SINCE FRIDAY, MAY 7TH, APPLICABLE:

Since the district is between an incidence of 50 and 100, the night curfew

does

not apply.

People from two households are allowed to meet a maximum of five.

In retail, Click & Meet (appointments) apply without a test requirement.

Museums and galleries by appointment;

Celebrations and celebrations are prohibited.

There had been confusion to the last about the approach to the relief.

Initially, five days in a row below 100 were assumed as a prerequisite - as it is called in the ordinances currently in force in Bavaria - in the statement by the ministry on Friday it suddenly stated as the definition of “stable below 100” that only circles were easing expected, which have been below the limit for the federal emergency brake since May 2nd.

The district is now also addressing this language regulation in its current publication.

“The district.

.

.

has been stable under a 7-day incidence of 100 ”since May 1st, so the opening steps have been applied for - and approved.

In order to be able to implement the relief from the corona restrictions (see info box), the district administration has issued a general decree, which will apply from Monday (May 10), midnight.

The text of the ordinance is available from the District Office on the Internet at www.lra-gap.de/de/coronavirus.html.
