The state of alarm comes to an end.

Spain says goodbye this

Sunday, May 9 at 00:00 a.m. to

the legal umbrella that has affected the fundamental rights of citizens in the last six months, such as free movement or assembly, amidst the malaise of the autonomous governments, who demand a centralized action plan to prevent a rebound in coronavirus infections.

But the requests have fallen on deaf ears.

And less than 48 hours before the start of a new national de-escalation, some autonomous communities have introduced requests for legal guarantees that allow them to extend restrictions such as the curfew.

Others have chosen to resort to

limiting the hours and capacity of hotels

and businesses to contain the mobility of the population, while warning that although the state of alarm wanes, the pandemic has not ended.

Andalusia

The Junta de Andalucía has divided its return to normality into three phases, depending on the level of vaccination.

The first, stabilization, begins on Sunday May 9 until 31 this month.

The curfew and the perimeter closure of the community are eliminated

, although the Executive of Juan Manuel Moreno plans to maintain the perimeter closure of municipalities with more than 5,000 inhabitants that have a cumulative incidence of more than 1,000 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

This measure must have the endorsement of the Superior Court of Justice.

The hotel business may open until midnight

and a maximum limit of eight diners per table is set inside the establishments and 10 outside.

The biggest novelty comes for

nightlife

after more than a year without activity: bars and discos

may open until 2 in the morning

, respecting the same capacity of the hotel industry.

Aragon

With the end of the state of alarm,

the confinement of the community and the curfew disappear in Aragon

.

On the other hand, the current confinements of the cities of Tarazona, Jaca and Calatayud, as well as of the Cinco Villas, Campo de Cariñena, Ribera Alta del Ebro and Valdejalón regions are extended for another month.

The Government of Javier Lambán also maintains other measures endorsed by Aragonese law to control the coronavirus health crisis, such as limitations in hours and capacity of the hotel industry.

The capacity limitation

goes from 10 people inside and 15 outside to

30 and 50

, respectively, as long as the tables do not exceed four people and may open

until 10.00 p.m. in territories that are at aggravated level 3

, like Tarazona, and

until 11:00 pm in the rest of the community.

Asturias

The Principality will no longer have a curfew and perimeter closure from the 9th, while the hospitality industry will be able to serve inside the premises until 01.00 a.m.

The autonomous government also expands from four to six the people who will be able to sit at the same table inside.

The capacity in shops of more than 300 square meters is expanded to 70%.

curfew from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
