Summary.

On Thursday, February 4, Christelle is determined to end it all.

This mother takes refuge alone in her pavilion in the mining town of Ecaillon in the North, and warns the firefighters that she is going to “blow everything up” with gas cylinders.

Mobilized, the RAID manages to reason with her after long minutes of anguish.

It is a succession of debts and personal failures that have led the fifty-something in such distress.

Faced with the inability to work because of his perpetually broken down car, driven by debt, his family was threatened with eviction.

More and more individuals would resort to desperate acts like this one, according to the GIGN which has increased its interventions in recent months.

Christelle agreed to testify in this episode of Source Code, accompanied by journalist Christel Brigaudeau who investigated these new madmen.
